The Kid Center is a drop-in facility providing dependable, hourly child care. We offer both  flexibility and peace of mind for parents while promoting social, motor, and sensory skills for  children. Inside you will find both free play and a variety of scheduled activities for children from 1  to 12 years of  age. From Craft Corner to the Learning Loft to the Fun Zone, children will find  invigorating sensory, quiet, and physical play opportunities throughout the center.

 Children may attend The Kid Center for a maximum of four consecutive hours on any given day.  Payment is based on an hourly rate of $8.00 for the first child and $5.00 for each additional  sibling. Annual registration fee is $20.00 per family. Payment is due by cash, check, or credit card.  There will be a $25.00 fee for any returned checks. In the event of pickup after The Kid Center  after the 4 hour limit or after The Kid Center has closed, there is a $1.00 charge for every minute  late.

 The Kid Center offers snacks and water/juice for no additional charge. . Breakfast,  lunch and  dinner meals are available for just $3.00 per child.

 Potty training is not required; however, parents should bring diapers, wipes and a change of clothing  for their child(ren). The Kid Center will charge $1.00 for each diaper we must provide.

 Please dress children in comfortable play clothing and make certain they wear socks - socks are  required! Please label any items you do bring as The Kid Center is not responsible for lost or  stolen  items.

 When picking up your child, please remember that picture ID is required. Only persons listed on the  Registration Form will be allowed to pick up children. A locked gate is in place that ensures only  The Kid Center staff can allow children and parents entrance or exit to the play area. The Kid  Center utilizes 24 hour video surveillance to ensure safety and for children and staff alike.

 Praise and positive reinforcement are effective methods of the behavior management of children. We  do not use corporal punishment. Instead we use patience and understanding to work through  behavior issues.

 The Kid Center takes excessive measures to provide a clean and healthy play environment at all  times. Staff must wash their hands after each visit to the restroom, after serving meals and snacks,  and after assisting children with toileting. We clean all toys and play equipment daily with non-toxic  cleaners. We also assist the children with hand sanitizing upon entry and hand washing before and  after meals and trips to the toilet.
